The Angel Network of Cooperstown helps in numerous ways in our community.
Angel Network provides scholarships for summer camps for children with financial hardships. We also provide financial assistance for virtual/in-person tutoring for children struggling academically, or who just need extra guidance through those tough subjects. If you are in need, fill out an Intake Form and a Special Request Form and Angel Network will be in touch with you soon!
Angel Network provides school supplies to students in the Cooperstown Central School district whose families are unable to afford them. This allows students to focus on school and not worry that they don’t have the necessary supplies to participate in class. If you need assistance with school supplies, please email us.
Angel Network can provide financial assistance to local families in crisis for basic necessities, such as food, diapers, winter jackets and heating bills. In addition, we can connect these families with other local government resources. If you are in need, fill out an Intake Form and a Special Request Form and Angel Network will be in touch with you soon!
Families who may need assistance during the Holidays are identified by the school guidance counselors. Families are provided a form to complete and return with their child’s sizes, wants and needs. Angel Network members put together gifts for the school-aged children in the immediate family. Forms are usually sent to families in mid-October and must be returned by October 30th. If you are looking for assistance for the Holidays, please reach out to your child’s guidance counselor and complete an Angel Network Intake Form.
My Neighbor’s Closet is an all-volunteer thrift shop located in Hartwick, NY. All items are FREE! If you are unable to visit the shop but are in need, please contact Angel Network and someone can shop for you and coordinate to get you the items. Donations are accepted when the shop is open: Tuesday from 9am-Noon, Wednesday from 5pm-7pm and Saturday from 9am-Noon. Click here for more information about My Neighbor’s Closet.
